Director of Operations
Erica Zettle is a graduate of Oakland University with a Master’s of Public Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Originally from Clarkston, Michigan, Erica has lived in Omaha, Nebraska for the past six years. She originally joined The Set Me Free Project as a Data Analyst with AmeriCorps VISTA in January of 2021. Following her VISTA service, she remained with The Set Me Free Project for a year before departing due to illness in her family. Erica then worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development as an Equal Opportunity Specialist for two years. However, her heart remained with The Set Me Free Project. She happily returned as the Director of Operations in February of 2025.
In addition to her work with The Set Me Free Project, Erica is currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Metropolitan Community College, Nebraska. In her spare time, she and her partner travel to Michigan to visit her three adult daughters and four grandchildren.
