Volunteer Opportunity
Venue Volunteer
The Set Me Free Project ® began in 2014 after much training, research, and education on the evils of human trafficking. The mission of The Set Me Free Project (SMFP) is to stop human trafficking before it starts by providing prevention education to all ages. Our desire is to reach as many facets of the community and as many people with trafficking prevention education.
Every year, The Set Me Free Project hosts an annual one-night fundraising event called Comedy for Change (CFC). Typically, held in the April/May timeframe. It includes a silent and live auction, dinner and a comedian. It’s a fun night for all and raises money for an excellent organization! As a Venue Volunteer, you will assist in the set-up and tear-down before and after the Comedy for Change event. The volunteer in this role will report to the Event Coordinator.
